Everybody needs to brake check themselves a bit. Maybe Simmer 's 10 team list included every playoff team that was supposed to be in on him as a final FU to Philly for enjoying a team friendly deal this whole time and not signing him now.

Point is we don't know how tied Fletch's hands were or weren't. This is not the end of the world.

I thought the official word was that if he didnt get value offered for him then they were happy to go into the playoff stretch with Simmer on the team.

Nope keep the same team and expect different results mentality...I don't want to keep seeing the same team year after year and hoping it will be different this year.

If Fletcher can't get something from anyone in 4 mins...Raffl, Simmonds, Elliott, don't care who...to make this team better than my Flyer watching is done this year.

Yeah Raffl and Elliot can be shipped and probably should be shipped. Simmer...I could go either way. I get the business side, but as a fan I'd like him to stay.

I gave Fletcher so much leeway, great job getting rid of some crap Weal, Weise, Folin, etc, but no moves today means he has to go. Not a good start trying to help this team.

I don't blame Simmonds, but obviously other teams just don't find him that valuable.
