yeah getting rid of Guddy is a win no doubt - it's the beginning of fixing the D hopefully. I just don't care much for Pearson, he's big but not physical, not fast and hasn't had a great year, dont like his contract either. Wish we could've got more/better but honestly Pitts have very little in terms of prospects or picks - Brooks_Light
Bo needs help on the wing. It's a decent move as our D blows anyway so losing Guddy doesn't hurt us one bit. See where it goes. Plus Pearson won a cup in LA can bring some room stability. |

Another middling six player to Benning's massive pile. |

Pretty bold comment for someone who has seen neither player play.... |

honestly, banking on past chemistry with EP was not a good enough reason to keep him in the organization.
8 5v5 points in 50GP this year in the AHL.
Injured a few times as well.
Last year, decided the AHL was a bit too much for him and went back to Timra.
This is essentially flipped Burrows for a 3rd round pick in 2018. I am ok with this.
Boucher had success playing with Steven Stamkos
Goldy had success playing with Galcheyuk
Evaluate them individually instead of who they played with in the past and you can kind of see why the Canucks decided to move on. |

How could you expect more for Guddy? |

I'm interested in seeing Schenn be tougher than Guddy. |

Per Cam Robinson
"For those wondering, Linus Karlsson is a smart, hard-working centre with a good release. Had a very nice D-eligible season in the J20 but has struggled to produce much offence in the Allsvenskan. " |

how in the (frank) do you know what I have/havent seen?
I watched Dahlen several times in Timra last year and this year Ive watched nearly every Utica game -
Dahlen as an 18yr old in Swe1 - 45 gm 25g 19a 44pts
Karlsson seem age same league - 48 gms, 4g 13 a 17 pts.
not that bold.... |

Vegas with the grand slam. Stone really gives them a shot. I still like SJ but man is that a great deal and lock up. |

Not confident he is better or worse than Dahlen but to say a step back is not really warranted right now.
Remember how everyone lost their poop over Granlund for Shinkaruk? |

Good assessment. Burrows for a 3rd is still a homerun. |

100% agree
Another tweeer. The 3rd wheel on the Carter/Toffoli line but still useful enough to be a positive on the ice so I’ll take it. Could flip him next year |

Nice life, I'd love to get over to Timra that often.
Youre still talking out of your ass.....you know nothing about Karlsson. Go be a big shot elsewhere..... |

I'm interested to see what happens when Fleury stops playing well and their defense is exposed for being below average. I wonder if they'll regret committing 8 years to Stone |

If they as an organization dont like what they see, you have to move on. I agree Karlsson is likely a bottom 6 guy, but if he’s effective in that role it’s worth it. |

Wasn’t impressed when I watched Dahlen play in Utica this year, too soft for my liking without the elite talent to make up for it.
Karlsson apparently has some “bite to his game” so at least he can contribute even if he doesn’t have high end skill either.
I like both moves. Would’ve preferred more picks as extra ammo for Brackett and his American scouts but this is fine. |

yup i flew to Timra several times....or maybe i watch games online, imagine that!!!
talking outta my ass? Just look at the stats - its not rocket science. I think Dahlen had/has a better shot at making the NHL - thats it - its just my opinion - maybe chill the (frank) out a little |

I watch Canucks regularly and live in Van, he wont help them. Hes a liability and is worse than Jack Johnson the very guy we cant really stand at the moment. |

He's a top10 winger in the show, I don't think so. But then again that takes him to how old? |
