Boston is winning the Stanley Cup this year
Love their additions at forward
They’re extremely deep at every position, including defense, and have the experience that will put them over the top during the post season. |

Like the Bruins a lot.
But TBL seems special.
Should be a fun tournament, heart wants the Hawks in it, Head says lose for Hughes.

(frank) Boston that city doesn’t deserve another championship. Tampa played OT last night and it’s still 0-0. I’ve also got money on Tampa tonight so go Bolts.
Boston will handle Toronto though in Round 1.

Strome needs to get stronger in his core. Should help his stops and starts some. Which, given his age is to be expected. While everyone is quick to write off guys like Forsling, Dahlstrom and Special K, they are very young in terms of NHL experience. Maybe, just maybe mind you, there can be some organic improvements from that group. Not all but maybe one. Add in Joker and give JC a full training camp to implement a system he feels this group can possibly learn to play some semblance of defense and go from there. - Elbows15
Agreed. improvement there will help Strome defend better where his skating makes it difficult for him to stay with his check right now.

Strome just needs to do Pilates? Even tho he is also young in terms of NHL experience, his main issue is his core? Brilliant!!!!!
P.s. You were the first numbskull to write off Special K |

They need to improve their 5 v 5 scoring to accomplish that feat. They score a extremely high percentage of their goal on the PP. They are definitely all over the Lightning tonight. Goal tending is the only reason this game is close.
Carlo is a stud. Hawks need a guy like him. |

I think Boston has a better overal roster than TB
The best overall roster in the NHL IMO
Their matchup tonight has nothing to do with it though
I think Boston has a criminally underrated Dcore
An elite top line
Extremely good middle 6 with Debrusk finding his form + additions of Johansson and Coyle
And also IMO Wagner Kuraly and Acciari is the best 4th line in the league
Solid team speed, more size and toughness than TB and TOR. Also experienced players who have won the Cup before.
Unless Rask implodes they’re winning it all |

Dominos is keeping the Lightning in the game. Bruins have dominated them this game. |

DeBrincat starting to get more press/notice these days. Will Hawks have to deal with their first offer sheet situation since Hjalmmerson?
Hockey News (w/Kane): https://thehockeynews.com...-might-not-matter-one-bit

Dietz:
Alex DeBrincat joins a select group (thanks to NBC SportsChicago for this):
Hawks with 35-plus goals at age 21 or younger:
1. Steve Larmer 43
2. @Jeremy_Roenick 41
3. Bobby Hull 38
4. Alex DeBrincat 36
5. @Jeremy_Roenick 35
Plenty of time for DeBrincat to set Blackhawks record.

Satchel Price
@SatchelPrice
Couldn’t fit em all so some bonus DeBrincat fun facts:
- Only three 2nd-round picks in NHL history have scored more goals in their first 2 seasons
- Only Matthews, Laine have scored more from 2016 class
- He’s already broken Panarin’s CHI record for goals in first two seasons |

Some one would have to omake him an offer that is worth 4 1st for the Hawks not to match. Offer sheets are based on the total value of the contract over 5 years if the term is longer than 5. For a rebuilding team, those picks are pretty valuable. Long way to get before they get there, tho. |

I'm pretty sure he would have to reach RFA status before a team can present him with an offer sheet and that won't happen until July 1, 2020. Stan has between July 1, 2019 and June 30, 2020 to get him re-signed before an offer sheet is a possibility.
