I think signing Myers would be a big mistake for this franchise. We finally got rid of Gudbranson we don't need another one who gets hurt more and hits less.

I also find it very odd to see people posting mock D corps lineups with no Tanev. It's ridiculous to think he won't be on the team next year, management has made it pretty clear through not trading him the last 2 years that they want to hang on to him, doubly so now so that he can play with Hughes.

Its a compmicated process but from what i read unless they win the big 10, highly unlikely, they dont have much of a chance.

dahlen is a whiny betch if you ask me. I think its the media's way of making something into an issue when its essentially a non-issue

Dahlen plays a couple games, gets mono, flies home to sweden because hes sad.
Most AHL players would have dealt with the mono, and trained and come back, but he goes home.
He then plays 50 games in Utica, 8 even strength points at 5v5, and -13, so he whines to his agent and asks him to tell Benning to explore a trade.
Dahlen then goes to the media and says "i never asked for a trade, it wasn't working out, im happy for a new opportunity" despite JP Barry going on air to say he went to Benning and asked him to explore options, and Benning went on to say the same.

If he doesn't want to be here, then good riddance. He was probably upset that his best buddy was playing pro and wasn't able to help him mass produce like he has in the past. Again, I think its a non-issue.

The kid is skilled but i don't think we need to hold onto anyone because they showed "great chemistry" with EP. EP's chemistry skills appear to be off the charts.

Whereas the new kid doesn't have the same offensive skillset, he seems to be more of a two-way player. Perhaps he becomes another Granlund, maybe something more.

if an opportunity was what he was looking for, he may have gone to one of the worst teams in the league to ever get that opportunity. They are pretty well off at the forward position.
