Thanks, Carol
And thanks, Jim! - Nucker101
Now that we know Dahlsey is a crybaby, I think Jim made out splendidly yesterday. I mean, in a perfect world he would’t be in this predicament, but he did well to get out from under his good mistake. |

Thx much Carol.
I can see Pearson excelling here just like Spooner. - LordHumungous
?
Spoonsey has excelled? Didn’t Carol just give Benning an L on that last blog? |

Gagner was doing nothing, eg was brutal. Might as well get whatever you can and hope for the best. Niether guy is that old - neem55
I'm actually in favor of giving Spooner and Pearson a shot here especially Pearson if he gets quality minutes with Bo.
Spooner is a tough one. Has shown great signs in BOS with the right linemates but not sure we can give him the TOI to succeed here plus the complimentary players.

I think the more important question is what will we call the line he plays on? |

Tyvm Carol awesome as usual
Glad to see Gaudette be fulltime.
Interesting to see Pearson play.
Dahlen seemed to be not cut out for NHL rigors & what’s needed to improve. |

Goldy only needs to wrap his head around being committed 100% & follow examples of the leaders & attention to details. |

I see Spooning as a playmaker & a role player. Given the right linemates he can be good depth with his speed & be a good utility type of player.

Pretty happy to read Goldys comments. He seems to have bought in and just has to be consistent. Great game from he and Bo - neem55
I think that's why he hasn't been traded, he's showing the right attitude to management, even if he hasn't had the results yet |

I thought my naming convention was quite apt the other day. Pearson on the scraps line, if he plays well he can be elevated to the "Benning not an idiot line?" If he fails then onto the "nope he's an idiot line".

Looking forward to the draft & what key piece gets added. Prosoects like Zac Lind OJ & then hopefully like Gads can add grit. Hughes will be help a ton. |

and either way, both of the guys we shipped out were not going to fit. Both these guys have potential to. #hockeytrades |

I feel like Boston did a nice job of pumping and dumping Spooner, they babied him and propped him up nicely with easy minutes and now he's bouncing around the league since his new teams aren't giving him that same treatment. I would't be surprised if he's out of the NHL and in the AHL/Europe full time in a couple of years.
Pearson I have some hope for at least as a middle 6 winger.

Debatable about dahlen not going to fit but I like the move to get a younger prospect. |

Oh yeah, I think you have to put him in every offensive situation and let the kid make mistakes. I understand holding them accountable but he's been good for us, much better than he gets credit for. |

We were talking about EG and Gagner. Dahlen asked for a trade, end of story there IMO he had to go. |

Didn't Spooner put up almost a ppg with rangers prior to them signing him?
