Now that we know Dahlsey is a crybaby, I think Jim made out splendidly yesterday. I mean, in a perfect world he would’t be in this predicament, but he did well to get out from under his good mistake. - 1970vintage

Goldy only needs to wrap his head around being committed 100% & follow examples of the leaders & attention to details. - Nighthawk
When Goldy is on, he looks like he belongs. Thought it was a pretty complete effort for him last night in both ends of the ice. |

They've were really good last night. I though Brisebois showed really well in his limited minutes. I mean he's no Pouiliot but... |

Pouliot and Guddy divorce and instantly Pouliot is a +2. Seriously, Guddy is a curse on his partners. Just watching Schenn and I feel more confident. That's not pumping Schenn's tires, it's an indictment on Guddy's game. Every goal against, I look to see if 44 is on the ice...guess what? HE IS! Good luck, but more so, good riddens! |

That's the price we have to pay if you want a high draft pick. I
am still not on team tank. I enjoy winning. |

I think we're stuck with him through the remainder of his terrible contract |

Not necessarily- he had value in the summer. He was injured all season and his value disintegrated. (frank)er has to get healthy |

Its been a tough road, but I feel like next year, barring the usual injuries, that we have a legit shot at the playoffs. What are your thoughts on getting rid of Newell Brown. Cheech referred to him the other night as the "guru of the power play." I almost puked. |

With his partial NTC and that cap hit it would be super tough to trade him for anything of value imo, best you could hope for is a Gudbranson type return |

I think it is time for a lot of changes. Brown Tanev Edler Sutter.
Everything that has been positive about this team is new additions. Time to get rid of old bad habits. |

Agreed. The back pass has become... a little predictable. My entries would start and end with Petterson, and he would play the entire power play. I'm all for mentors, but Tanev and Edler make Sami Salo look like an ironman. |

I admit I went from dissatisfied with the lack of trade activity to pretty happy with the moves that JB made. Addition by subtraction with EG, coin toss with the prospects.
Canucks looked alive last night, good win for them, SO for Markstrom. maybe Ducks just looked lifeless... - SlightlyOffside
Grabbing Karlsson is like Benning trading for an extra 3rd rounder last year, if he does the same next season then we can stop complaining about no extra draft picks... in hindsight of course. |

lol I just like to bug Kap about it. He had two decent seasons in MTL after the left Van and Kap was blowing up saying we should have kept him. Like most scrubs he has been an absolute plug every other year he has played in the NHL. Career 4th liner that can fill in when injuries hit. Much in the way Gaunce is a career AHL'er nothing more lol. |
