Hes better than the last 2 coaches hired and they were interviewed and had NHL experience. I like his smug condescending behaviour and think he has done some good.
Every coach players favorites, some just pick better players to play favorites with... - belcherbd
Yes the team has made big strides and they are often fun to watch again.
I'd say the biggest vote of confidence in green is how he's gotten players to find their games. Markstrom for example. Virtanen another. Even LE has had a better year.
It maybe the unreachable are the soon traded.....
Green has done well. As for being outcoached, sure.. But he may not be revealing his poker hand. I'm hoping he's saving this for playoffs

They've exceeded most poeples expectations on this board, I don't see how you can go from that to he has to go when 90% of us said this was a bottom 5 team. Just makes zero sense. - neem55

woah
what was the "nylander thing" though?
but of course we could have just drafted him. JV in that package could have been poetic.
I like the fact that the Canucks are concentrating on character guys such as Horvat, Boeser and Pettersson. If Dahlen doesn’t want to put in the work to become an NHL player he belongs in someone else’s dressing room. Guddy moving should have happened last year. Now in the off season go big to bring in Ferland, the Canucks need the piss and vinegar. Keep up the good work Carol.

Ferland has had concussion issues. Not a good choice

His is a smug, condescending ass hat that plays petty favourites and is out-coached by the opposition time and again. Not sure that being a former NHL player means jack sh*t to the pampered millennial players these days. - Marwood
If he gets us 5 spots up in the standings this year (as it appears) then he is doing his job. Especially with this roster and injuries.
There's never any Clamato love.....I really like that Motte kid. He has been a heart and soul kinda guy all year, so someone should give him props, so I will
As much as Poop-a-lot gets pooped on, his first pass (that he doesn't mess up and give it away), is clean and on the tape. Maybe not having to worry about Goddamnson is going to make a difference....power of positive thinking.
Shenn......was good? Cool
Last nights game was great, and was really a team.....a team win.
Even Rookie coaches have to start somewhere. Green is still 50/50 with me but I do think he is communicating with the kids well. I still believe that having a coach that played all those NHL games will help and translate to the players. Next year is the key for Green. Ownership will want this team in the PO's next year...needs to be a good showing for him. - LordHumungous
They dont have enough talent to be in the playoffs. 3 legit forwards plus gaudette maybe and sven we healthy the rest are supreme border line for their role. Zero top 2 dmen Hutton and stech wre showing well but we are losing almost every game ie we aren't good enough. We need to move on from edler we need to move on from tanev giys who get hurt hurt our team. Stop kidding ourselves and cut out the garbage and move on.
Green has them playing with heart ut man do we need a fresh pp guy
