i'd trade Tanev and sign Myers, no problemo. - dbot
Tanev would get little in return and Myers sucks. If you’re going to spend money then spend it right. |

I would trade Tanev next TDL . Sign Schenn for 1 mil and you have Sautner. Go for a trade like Trouba Fabbro Barrie or someone . That sets up your D and you haven't committed crazy money or term.
Draft a couple of D |

Elliotte Friedman telling SN 650 that the Flames were after Edler at deadline, I’m hearing the Penguins and Blue Jackets as well. The focus now switches to signing Edler, no update on that front. |

Uglier, slower, taller version of Gudbranson, Nucker wouldn't be happy. Better then what we have though.
If we got him it should take pressure off of tanev and he'd probably get injured less. - New world order
They really have nothing in common in terms of how they play hockey, this is like a kesler in his prime to domi comparison |

Draft a couple of D - VANTEL
I’d like to see them draft byram or broberg so long as they dont land a top3 |

That was awesome, all the balls combined on the Canucks don't add up to Evander Kane's balls for taking on Chara.
Last guy we had like that was Bertuzzi. - LeftCoaster

I liked what I saw of Schenn last night. Seemed like a decent, cheap feisty option for the bottom pair. |

Minivan watches the Jets more than he watches the Canucks and even he knows Myers is a 4/5 dman at best
Myers is a chill dude though. I met him and a few other Jets at the Roxy after they shutout the Nucks this season. Big Buff is wild, that’s all I’m gonna say |

You calling Linden a beta? Eat a Richard, female dog. Linden is harder than you'll ever be. |

Even using the term beta clearly makes you a beta. And I've seen tougher betas in the fish tanks at the library. |

I don’t like the big free agent signings by JB to date so I’m inclined to hope he doesn’t go after any of the “big names”. Sign tier two type players and draft and develop like mad. |

I had Myers as a tier 2.

Funny, I remember the hype around Myers similar to that of Guddy. Both touted as big dominant dmen. I see red flags but can’t tell you exactly why. |

Linden shed a lot of blood in a Canuck jersey. If you don't respect him, you don't respect the franchise. |

Yeah, he was fairly highly touted and I recall him having pretty good promise early in his career.
I think injuries took a bit of a toll.
There are definitely flags (that's why he's not a tier 1).

One could argue that Benning has in fact, targeted tier 2 (or 3) type players. That he’s paid them like “big names” is the issue... |

Didn’t he win the Calder? Pretty sure it was all downhill after that. |
