If JC wants to blend lines tonight, he needs to put DBC with Kane and Toews for a few shifts. Right now Dillion is shutting Kane down every time Kane gets the puck. Give them two to have to stop. - pdx2ord
Then Toews needs to get loose. Kane needs to force Dillon back. |

Vegas or the Flames are goingal to beat the Sharks come PO time. Their D-men are slow AF. - Elbows15
Vegas blueline corp isn't special but the team\player effort and goaltending can make defense appear better than actuality.
Flames going with veteran Smith. + Riddich, a rookie" in goal. Could be an issue |

His Star was rising in his rookie year before that dirtbag Dustin Brown blew out his knee. He’s a great combo of size and skill for sure. |

Are you saying viewers on tv are in a better position to evaluate Crow's medical condition, than team doctors, his doctors, and Crow himself? - mohel
Absolutely not. All I am saying is that it ishuman nature for someone to say they are ready to do something that they shouldn’t do it. If you can get a qualified and neutral professional who can evaluate the player’s ability to perform and who is not influenced by the team (and their objectives) and the player (and his agenda) you will get a much better evaluation. Those of us watching from tv or the stands don’t know squat about the situation beyond what someone might have experienced themselves, and then that’s only an imprecise opinion. |

When the offense has the puck, when they bring it back out of the zone, there should be a whistle and faceoff... a la over and back in basketball. This will keep the intent of the OT with pressure and mistakes. - RedFeather
Excellent suggestion but can’t see it flying; it is not a natural part of the game. If they did that, they could also introduce a 20-second clock or whatever time they use now to change possession if no shot gets on goal within the required time. |

Convinced "All In" is small tweaks to push an already great team over the top. Hawks getting Vermette is one example, Penguins getting Justin Shultz for basically nothing proved to be a valuable piece on their blueline.
Neither Vermette or Shultz were the sexy flavor of the days, but they were monster factors in their teams title runs.
IF ONLY Stan coulda gotten Vermette in 2014. - kwolf68
Agreed... the best teams don’t need another star to take them over the top. The can use a solid two-way depth player, or pk or pp guy to fill the missing pieces.

i like this but eliminate the shootout...game end after 10 minutes each team gets the point...
winner gets 2 and loser get zippo...eliminate these loser points - bogiedoc
I vote yes if they don’t move to every game being worth 3 points.

Kane to Kunitz
Kunitz to about a foot and a half behind Toews
Rush the other way
Kane gets called for the penalty
Burns with the goal on the delay
so, why Kunitz with Kane and Toews still in the 3rd? |

How about Kunitz has had a better game than Kane - the latter with failed clears, a lazy penalty.... |

Maybe Kane is playing lazy because he's now being forced to play with old timers. This entire situation is a farce. Kunitz wouldn't play on ANY team in the NHL, yet he's now a first liner in Chicago.
This is a total poop show. |
