It was strange seeing #10 out there. I know the number is not retired for Leclair, but it seems like not many (if any) players have worn it since he left. I can't think of anyone off the top of my head - Big_E_88

So losing a young player for nothing is your answer?
He is working back from an ACL. I am sure once the Flyers are "really" out of the playoff hunt he will get some time. - J35Bacher

It’s not a big deal but I understand one guy spelling his name wrong but two different people getting his first and last name wrong. |

Don't forget that Alain Vigneault is out there as well. Not that familiar with his style but he has had success.
Regarding Knight, we shouldn't bother worrying about his place on the team. He is a 4th line guy. Him being unnoticeable is a good thing. I thought he has been playing a responsible game. That line was able to generate a little bit of O. Nice surprise. Knight's status next year is of no concern. If we need a veteran for a depth role, he can fill it. He was on ice for a PP goal against. Other than that I haven't really noticed him.
Talbot's start is the nail in our coffin. 8 different goalies to start a game. Great record. No way we should be even thinking about playoffs even though we are still in the hunt.
After last night, I came to the realize that we cannot make the points up UNLESS, another team falters down the stretch. Similar to what Boston did a few years back that helped us sneak in.
That said, there is no reason why we should not beat this Devils team by 3 goals this evening. I'm tired of this team just doing enough to win games they should clearly dominate. |

They should do a Rowing eight during off-season with Hextall as coxswain barking at them for charity

In my opinion, a depth guy is lesser than a fourth line guy. Depth guys get called up and/or sit in the press box until an injury that ripples down to the fourth line. A depth guy normally isn’t noticed because he’s little to no minutes.
With this said, a legitimate fourth line guy contributes every night. Whether it be physically, killing penalties, a fight or just out there allowing the top three lines to catch their wind. This is the Description of a fourth line guy. Just don’t screw up during the 4 to 7 minutes you’re being used.
As it stands, Knight is just here. I know the kid got hurt but there is no progression in his game between the start of the season and now. Which is why I scratch my head as to why he’s here. Contribute in the AHL. Get ready for next season’s training camp. |

The last Flyers to wear #2 was the great Lukas Krajicek, backbone of the 2010 SCF Flyers' defense. |

They're also missing Hall and Palmieri, and their main instigator, Miles Wood.
On paper, this should be a win for the Flyers. - Streit2ThePoint
Too bad we always play down to our opponents. Especially when they have key injuries or the backup goalie in net |

Corban Knight is a player the Flyers are looking at to see if he can be a 4th line center or depth forward for next season. They were looking at that before he was injured. - MJL
dont think varone is the answer. |
