Winning 10-games in November and then taking a nose-dive is not progress no matter how you spin it.

Being a bottom-dweller, having a 10-game win streak in February and missing the playoffs by a few points could be considered progress.

What we saw this year was a massive regression. Last year is over. We saw this team regress terribly THIS year.

The handling of the goaltending situation has been atrocious for most of the year. Decisions were made in terms of starts before the season, or at the beginning of the the month, and Housley didn't deviate from his "plan" until midway through the season. When he did make decisions based on feel, they were usually bad decisions
