Yes they can.

I hate offside reviews as much as the old foot in the crease rule, or ending games via the lameout. If a guy isn't clearly offside to the human eye, is the spirit of the offside rule really being violated? Can anyone look at that Marner to Hyman play the other night and say that's not a legit zone entry? It's not cherry picking or anything. It's such a entertainment killer in games too. I say let the linesman call it and own it.

They look like clowns. The league looked 3rd rate on the whole goalie interference and now this. The spirit of the rule was to not allow goals that are clearly offside like the duschene goal a few years ago. This width of an atom bs is just brutal. No one cares. They want to review to "get it right 100%" but they just look like clowns who can't get out of their own way. They aren't even close to "get it right 100%", so why bother. Just go back to refs calling it live as is.

Especially this season where there are more lead changes than ever and scoring is up, to cancel legit goals like this is really unfortunate.
