You mean boarded from behind? After.

When Severson cross-checked him in the face, Konecny was the one who came barreling in at Severson and punched him in the face.

Man, these guys just are soft and let people push them around.

Yeah the players still stuck up for themselves, that's what matters. Now if they kept getting run and all they did was cry to the refs and pout on the bench then I would say something has to be done.

I don't consider Voracek a fighter, but how many times has he been run at and does not hesitate to jump in someone's face? Needing someone else to fight your battles is soft to me.

Also saw an article that suggested an amac buy out. 1.4 next year and 1.9 the following year instead of 5 for 1 year. Kind of thinking about it makes sense. Gives us even more room to add.

I'll pass on a buyout. Keep as a 6/7, trade him with salary retained, or demote to the minors.

Personally I would rather see the Flyers retain half the salary and use some kind of lower value asset to move him to another team that either A) Needs a defenseman for depth or B) Needs some salary for the floor

Makes no sense. Bury him in the minors gain the 1.025M in cap space if he isn't part of the plans going forward. No need to extend the financial hit into the future

Why can't a NJ fan post in the thread? Back to this again?

If Fletcher gets fancy with his trades during the offseason, I can see AMac being moved. Or he makes a very fine 7th defensemen. I personally don’t want to see him play for the Phantoms.

Oh, this had to do with his bold content. I view trolls in a different light than actual posters who discuss hockey.

Add: If they dish it out, they need to be able to take. This one just called me what he actually is.

You save 3.6 million with a buy out this upcoming season. If were serious about being contenders that's a lot of money. Amac is a 7th the last few games. If we acquire a vet like it sounds like fletch covets hes now an 8th. It makes sense to me but I can see both sides.

What's wrong with him playing for the Phantoms? Provides some leadership and experience down there and gives the Flyers a depth option.

If you need the cap space to do something else to improve the team, fine. Otherwise I think they should avoid it.

We all complain about MacDonald to some extent, but at $2.5 mil do we think he can be moved without attaching a sweetener? Guys like MDZ get paid $3 mil

Your post was in bold.

It was not a comment on your team or the Flyers.

It was not a comment on the game.

It was a joke about a typo. I really like reading Bill’s thread and he make far fewer typos than most. I never see a need to criticize him for being human. (Bold+joke)

It also sounded like crying about losing.

He takes a spot from a developing player. They have plenty of veteran AHL leadership already. The Flyers also are not hurting for depth call up options.

Exactly, it is about what someone thinks is funny. To me, it seems hypocritical to joke about a mistake someone else makes which is far smaller than the same mistakes I make.

You’re right you are far more “funny” with your own typos. Ha ha ha

MacDonald is better than those players. If you're hit with multiple significant injuries, a player like MacDonald could come in handy.

RE: Playoffs. Flyers can make it easily IF they keep winning. People are forgetting the teams that we are competeing with:

1) We still play a decent chunk VS them(MTL, CAR x2, PIT)
2) Lots of divisional play right now so teams we a competing with will lose. We just gotta hope Regulation
3) We do have some tough games coming up(NYI x2, WSH, TOR x2). Points in these games will be a must.
4) CAR and PIT both have a tough schedule as well. CBJ could do us a huge favor and beat PIT twice

I’m not sure that is true. AMac has more experience.

Other teams can keep wining also. There is nothing easy about the Flyers chances of making the playoffs. The odds are not good. 7 points to make up from this point on is a lot.
