My worst experience as a fan was the Sabres losing to the Flyers in the '75 Stanley Cup to the Flyers. That would have be an amazing moment for a franchise in only their 5th year. I remember how crazy it was around town, just a blast to be a Sabres fan. It got worse for me as the Red Sox lost the 75 world series to the Reds. But they've done pretty good over the last 10 years or so.

In '99, me and my buddy we're screaming : "His foot was in the crease !" while everybody else in the arena was too tired to complain. I remember the ref (Gregson ?) skating over to the timekeepers area and pointing at him while talking sternly - probably said something like "Do NOT show the replay on the scoreboard !". They finally showed the replay on the TV's as you ride down the escalator, and then everyone finally started going apesh!t ...

What's my point ? I am the curse. As long as I'm alive, the Sabres won't win the Cup.

That's actually a pretty easy schedule but not for us.

Using Hall & Oates for your goal song should be automatic expulsion from the league.

Using any song for that matter should be. It doesn't need to be done. It takes the momentum of the crowd noise from the game. The current "song" the Sabres use is downright embarrassing.
