They still have a shot to make it. Will be tight until the end though and right now they're in a little slump at the wrong time.

Plus the Western trips have rarely been kind to the Habs.

yeah but the main reason those trips are usually terrible is because the California teams have been competitive or elte for so long. this is the first time i can remember 2 of those teams being terrible. if Montreal can't scratch out wins in both LA and Anaheim then we can stop worrying about whether or not they'll make it in.
