Can you elaborate on the last statement?

I want to see the players who are going to make the team have more pre season action together. I think they give too much time to looking at players. Make decisions sooner to allow the team to develop a little continuity. Getting off to a good start is critical. They came out of the gate not playing as a team with really poor play away from the puck.

Yeah, I can see this. But with a young roster it can be really hard to predict if they are ready. I think the more seasoned your roster is the easier it is to know what team you are going to roll with. I can understand them taking a bit longer to judge their team. Would it help the team to gel...yeah. But you got to have your best players playing. Hind sight I would have gotten out of the gates faster for sure. Then they would be in a better place now.

That's a good point that the more established your team is, the easier it is to do.

The other side of that is Simmer and Coots really didn't play pre season and started slow. When your best center, yeah I said it, misses pre season for the most part it will have a hugs impact. Changed coaches, Hart came up and things started rolling. But all of that was also in the time range when Coots started to come on.
