it could turn out that these 4th liners suck vs better competition and with more ice time but it would be interesting to see for a game at least - daeth
Could be. When Kadri's back though? Play the 3rd and 4th line 12 and 10 minutes a game and they'll do damage when 1/2 cancel themselves out against top lines in the playoffs. |

It sure says something to your teammate who just got rocked. - Cherry--Skoal
I'm sure Brown is losing sleep tonight that no one face-washed Anderson after that clean hit, even though the leafs won the game which is more important. And Matthews did put a hit on him in the corner the next shift |

If one of you ankle skaters got crushed in your D beer league games
and one of your teammates came to get in the guys face. You would say thank you.
but according to you guys.. you would get mad at your teammate for doing it because you know... leaf goggle reasons |

So pounding them on the scoreboard doesn’t count for anything? - shack67
It does, for sure. Just stick up for your teammates. it costs nothing. Scrums like that are two minutes aside at the worst nowadays. |

You take a number.... Matthews did, what more do you want? Want them to start a line brawl like the 80s? Get with the (frank)ing times |

Sure helps preserve the top 2 lines for a playoff run. |

we've watched far tougher leafs teams do (frank) all in the playoffs. excuse us if we're ok with this team being a top 5 skilled team with barely any toughness. |

one of your teammates went down with a questionable hit resulting in a 4 weeks on the shelf... no one did anything
a couple days later your teammate gets rocked in a 4-5 goal game.
DO.
Something.
Anything. - Cherry--Skoal
Like I said before, you maybe missed it, it might've been nice if someone did do something when Dermott went down. But Brown, it wasn't a bad hit and the dude was fine. You're over reacting to a routine hit because you already have the idea the Leafs are soft and this has given you the fuel you need to argue about it. |

At the beginning of the year Craig Button had list of the top 50 players in the NHL , and specific said Marner wouldn't be close to his top 50 |

You know it was a tad late, correct?
You're acting like it was a textbook hit. It was not. |

If anything, Moore and Ennis are forcing Babcock to use them more. Gauthier's not bad on that line when he runs interference and wins draws either. |

It'd probably actually be better for the team, although I'd feel bad putting someone with the history Marleau has on the 4th line. |
