so the leafs not sticking up for each other is bad and if you disagree you must have never played hockey before?

then why are the leafs (an nhl team) ok with it? why is the coach (an nhl coach) ok with it? the gm (an nhl gm!)? surely they know more than some 1970's junior b grinder? no? ok.

err I'll end with this.

Ive been rocked before. real hard. with my head down and it was my own fault.

while I tried to get to the bench but didn't know where my legs were so I doggie paddled my way back to the bench only to realize i was actually going to the penalty box. and later that night while I my parents not letting me sleep. It was nice to know my buddies had my back letting it be known that you cant take shots like that.

It matters.

we've watched far tougher leafs teams do (frank) all in the playoffs. excuse us if we're ok with this team being a top 5 skilled team with barely any toughness.
- daeth

This. If the team was soft and terrible, I'd be pissed.

You know, the team we had with Mike Brown and Colton Orr and Jay Rosehill was tough as (frank). It also sucked. I cheered when they won the odd fight, but I still wanted them to actually win games, which they didn't do too often.

I would like a little more push back and toughness from this team. I would. I don't really feel it was necessary because of that hit on Brown, but there are other times when I'd have loved it if our players stood up for each other more. One reason I was happy they got Muzzin cause I thought he might help bring us that element.

Need more grit. Bruins have already won in 3. Retool and build around Tom Wilson.

What an ass. First he demands your hockey credentials before your opinion is valid, then he decides your lying because your answer was inconvenient for him.

You're not keeping things in context either. You bring up some hit that happened to you who knows how long ago where you got hurt badly and are what? Comparing it to a hit Brown took where he got right back up, a hit that at worst, was slightly late, but not bad in any other way?

Tom Wislon would be a nice addition..have to admit.

Notice how the Leafs past 10 record is always 6-3, or 6-2. Pretty damn good, and only 1 point behind a team that has gone 9-0-1

Then his reason why he wants teammates to stand up for each other is because he got caught with his head down and wants people to fight when he gets caught? Like yea do something if Marchand is low bridging someone or Wilson is running around like he has, but neither of those hits these last few games were even close to that... Very big difference in the two

I wouldn't mind him, but he's paid too much. Someone similar that was cheaper would be great...

So if I disagree with your stance I can just say you didn't play at that level? Fun game!

He's gonna score over 20 goals, plus brings the "intangibles".
I dunno - pretty sure most teams would love to have him, even at that 5.1 salary.
