I understand but he’s so young and most likely going to have 30 + in a down year the cost would be high but I believe he’s worth it players like him are never on the market

so I keep hearing that Skinner loves Buffalo and has never played with a center like Eichel and he will sign.

Let me think like a player (if I was one). The real question is how much money can I make for the next 7-8 years.... yes I would love to play for a contender every year. but sometimes that just does not happen. So I have to take care of me and my family first.

So IMO, Skinner will go to the open market on 7/1 and he will get multiple offers, I would bet that some GM offers him 9 mil. I don't think that Skinner will sign here because I don't think Jbotts wants to go that high and he shouldn't. I love Skinner, but he really is 1 dimensional, he scores goals. Skinner is also a defensive liability and a turn over machine. Good with the bad..

I hope that Skinner see's the value of staying here but in the end 99% of the time Money talks....And with the year he is having some team will OVER PAY... Just don't think it will be Buffalo..
