It wasn't even a bad game...except in net

nothing was going their way, other goalie was standing on his head

Yeah the puck just wasn't bouncing our way tonight and Andersen played a great game. It happens. No reason to panic.

IIHF hockey hall of fame their is one in Switzerland as well in Toronto. It showcases greatness in international tournaments. So their is a difference.

There is an International Hockey Hall of Fame, in Kingston, Ontario. Many don't know about it, but there's some great stuff in there from the NHL, from the Olympics and International series like the Canada Cup and the Summit Series.

Exactly. The NHL schedule ebbs and flows. The Flames will be fine. It's very hard to win on Proline, when you have have to play a 3 game parlay. Games that you think are gimmes usually kills your ticket. I've stopped playing it because the league has too much parity.

You guys are a bunch of babies lol

I’m sure in a week when they go on another 5/6 game winning streak you’ll all be fine ...until they lose a game lol

Leafs fan base does the same thing. If we lose we gotta blow it up and rebuild. But when we win the next one, the parade is back on.

That's the game in a nutshell. Lindholm's shot that went through Anderson's legs but stayed out when the score was 1-0 was a lucky break for us.
If that goes in it's a whole different game

Iggy is a hall of famer all day long. Sundin ( and I know guys will prob rip me on this but I don’t Fukien care) shouldn’t even be in the hall. No way no how!!internatinal hall maybe. nHL no way!!
- pzoxic

Idiotic comment. You know Sundin had 49 more points in 200+ fewer games, right? Better playoff numbers too.

And this is not to argue that Sundin is better. It is fair to say that they are very comparable players....excellent, lengthy careers....franchise scoring leader....no Cups for either one. Sundin in the Hall may be questionable, but you can make the same arguments for and against Iginla

Putting the whistles away this game besides calling a soft slash in the first. Missed an elbow on tkachuck before the fourth goal. But man someone do something... big hit or anything
- novak14

Look again...that was not an elbow, but a shoulder. But I admit it looked like one an elbow when it happened live.

I do not think the first line has scored an even strength goal since before all star game.

I am pretty positive they have to be the worst at even strength over that time.

Tough game last night Flames fans. Bounces and calls didn't seem to go your way and were heavily tilted towards the Leafs. Freddie played a solid game, your goalie did not IMO.

I was surprised to see the calls going the Leafs way, this has certainly not been the case this year. I was sure that Hyman's 1st goal was going to be called back, not because I didn't believe that it was a good goal but because it seems that's the way the calls have been this year.

Last night's game reminds me of the Leafs game vs the Islanders last week - minus the booing and heckling. Nothing went right for the Leafs in that game like nothing went right for the Flames last night.

Flames are a better team than they showed last night. Pick yourselves up and get on to the next game. A couple of wins and this will be forgotten.

There weren't really any good goalies available at the TDL unless Minny was willing to listen on Dubnyk or something.

I’m out. Johnny gets slashed . No call, weak slashing call on Johnny. Serves penalty. Tkachuk gets slashed and loses stick, and glove, no call. Tkachuk gets back on ice and gets called for slashing 10 seconds later. Can’t beat the money being given to the NHL.

Have a good night friends.

- Flamin_Irishmin

you mean the money that has the Leafs at the bottom of the league for PP opportunities and practically never getting any goal review calls in their favour?

Not quite that bad, but yea, not great. Monahan and Lindholm have 5 gs between them 5-on-5 since Jan 26th.
