If CBJ took Pool Party, we probably have P.K. Subban instead of OJ and Tanev right now

Another example of Europeans being more blunt, different sport, but still funny.

Gareth Bale's agent hit out against Real Madrid supporters whistling his client as he was subbed off during El Clasico over the weekend.

"The fans are a disgrace. They will be speaking about him and his goals for years to come," said Jonathan Barnett.

Barnett also went after the media.

"The press are also a disgrace, but less important," added Barnett.

Don's head would explode if a player's agent said this about Canuck fans.

I’m pretty damn critical of canuck fans. But my head would probably explode regardless

Solid.... but.

Rousell isn't a bargain at 3m, he's slightly over market value but not a bad contract.

Beagle, Eriksson, Sutter, Schaller, gudbranson(Pearson now) are all massive(2×) payments and are horrible contracts.

OJ was trending point per game before his injury.

Boeser, pettersson are clear wins.

Hughes and OJ are question marks but look like they'll be wins.

McCann was a bust.
Virtanen was a reach but aqua wanted a local boy, it was always going to be him or Sam Reinhardt, not Benning's call.

Elder and Sutter have NTC, one Benning and ones Gilles. Can't move them.

Tanev should have been moved early.

I give dim Jim a B minus.

- New world order

I honestly respect Edlers decision not wanting to upset the flow of family, schooling, and every day life when asked at trade deadline. I think if Benning went up to him last summer and said we have a deal to get some prospect for you then Edler could have had a different approach. They could have moved his family in the offseason with no school interruption and him and his wife would have time to look for a new home.

Remember when Leafs fans chanted “fire Carlyle”?

All these people make oodles of money so they’re held to a high standard

Too funny. Just listening to the Pat Cast and Botchford while he was in Vegas he had dinner with some NHL Agents and they were saying that in December and January when the Canucks were doing ok. Benning and Weisbroud were very arrogant and strutting around arena thinking as one agent said they were " Ballers" the agents were laughing at them and more so now. wow!!!

How much do you think bringing in “quality vets” has set back this team?

I have no problem with the Virtanen pick. He didnt work out but the process was ok. Big strong and fast with a nice shot. That skill set is hard to find. His IQ holds him back but that is such a hard thing to access with a 17year old. Juolevi was a mistake and they tried to get too cute. No issues with any of Jim’s other first round picks

Yeah we selected Jake right after San Jose beat us 4-0 in the playoffs and the year before we got our asses handed to us 4-1 by the Kings. We had zero toughness . Jake did not live up to expectations.

It’s funny since the media ripped Gillis/Gilman for doing the same thing, but at least they did it during a SCF series.

We selected Jake after finishing near the bottom of the standings, not after getting beat in the playoffs.
