Remember Humungo - if we score more goals than the other team - thats a scenario where we win...
- Brooks_Light

He's a defensemen, stopping goals and clearing the front of the net is what wins games.

I'm a goalie, sooo.....

In all fairness I turned it off at 4-0 Leafs. Calgary didn't look in it to me.
- LordHumungous

Calgary doesn't even have an NHL backup goalie, pair of decent AHL starters though.

Fake news. Flames might have outplayed the Leafs by a slight margin. Had a bunch of Grade A chances but Freddy stood on his head. Leafs scored a few stinkers. All in all it was a much closer game than the scoreboard shows.

Should be a good game tonight!

too bad I'll still be at work when it starts.

By this logic you have turned off a lot of Canuck games this year after the first period 😉

Let’s not talk about teams with players who should be in the AHL lol

Canucks have no team toughness . The goalie gets run everyone stands around. Your star played get throttled everyone looks. A guy can only fight so many times before it becomes a risk. Don't blame Bieksa or Guddy for not wanting to fight everyone's battles.
- VANTEL

Your memory is short, Guddy talked big in regards to those types of things but rarely stepped up.

When he was injured he said that a cheap hit or lack of pushback never would of happened if he was on the ice, once healthy and on the ice did nothing when petey or whoever was run.

I hope him the best and glad hes been playing better if that's the case but he was terrible here and that's not just his quality of teammates.

lol there is no scenario where we win both games.

Leafs just made the Flames look like a Junior B team and we 'might' compete vs the Oil maybe an OT loss.

I'll say 8-2 Leafs and 6-5 Oil in OT.

Marner and McDavid 5 pts each game.

- LordHumungous

There’s nothing like a sold out (leafs) crowd to get the boys pumped. 3-1 Canucks. Crash and burn vs the Oil.

I'm all for the recent tank. But a win would be good for this group. If there is 1 game to win this year, its this one. Then lose the next 15 haha.

I feel like a win against the leafs and then getting the best lottery odds possible would be a great finish to the year

I hope no one takes any liberties with the team. Without Guddy, who's gonna do nothing on the ice and give a tough guy interview after the game?
- RealityChecker

Gudbranson was a cream puff.
He stood around thinking of his next 'intimidating' revenge rant instead of physically doing anything other than ice the puck.
Fire Benning.

Will you be holding up a sign, at tonight's game?

I could see you holding that sign up and Vantel with a sign that reads,

Thanks Alex #23, enjoy Florida.

I was always surprised that his puck-icing skills never translated into him being a better penalty killer. He could fire it the length of the ice with the best of them, but he rarely got those clean clear looks when killing penalties. Shame really.

There won’t be many Canuck fans there tonight. Season ticket holders sell them all to ravenous Leaf fans. I hope someone starts a derogatory Tavares chant

Will we get to see Demko against the Oilers tomorrow, then most of your favourite prospect, Hughes, Wednesday against the Rangers?
