All will be forgiven with a win Wednesday.
Then, a few hard fought games to end the season.

You think were going to take down Toronto? I really hope we do but don't see it at all. I hate how many Leaves fans turn up to those games.

WOW , a little adversity and the rats jump ship, the "experts " rant I told you so , and naysayers nit pick . the team has made a huge step , we have a franchise Center who is getting the best of every team he faces, we have seen a goalie develop before our eyes , and some young D take huge strides, there is a lot to look forward to next season . I see a team taking shape before our eyes and a little heartbreak and failure teaches them how to take the next step. Man up and back our boys

Just remember that even the great goalie coach Rollie Melanson couldn't fix the patented Luongo belly flop.

Rollie was never part of the greatest coaching staff ever assembled.

Speaking of fanboys, I really like Lockwood if he can stay healthy and adjust well as a pro. The guy is really noticeable with the way he plays, he can skate, is a tenacious forechecker(like Motee/Roussel) and has some skill.

So true. Schneider excelled under Melanson but Lou never took to him. When Lou was brought here he was told that the Canucks were after Francois Allaire but when the Canucks told Lou that Melanson was the man well the rest is history.

I hope Lou wins the cup. Multiple orgasms if the Leafs get bounced in the first.

My two problems with Jim is

1) he is a .500 GM . Eriksson is a terrible unforgivable contract. We knew Loui was coming to the Canucks but the contract structure is beyond dumb. It shows how long the thought the Sedins would be here and they were still relying on them heavily.

Schaller is a bad contract that any GM could have made but there is no real harm done. Canucks had close to 10 mil in cap space all year and have no cap issues next year.

Beagle is an over payment but Roussel is a bargain.

My bigger problem with Benning is he reacts after the fact. Tanev Sutter and Edler should have been moved last summer and here we are today what do we do with them. None of them were bad signings at the time but should have been movd by now.

2) His drafting . He has had 6 first round picks and 3 look good and 3 not so good. As fans we can hope for players to be selected Like Jake but as a GM it is up to him and his staff it is up to them to do their homework.

I think this year had to be successful for JB to have public support but fell short by a few months.

that old bag of bones, despite some awful contracts that he has handed out over the years, would do a better job of getting draft picks and rebuilding than Benning has
