I don't know if was Andreychuk, but someone on that Sabres team in the 1980s made plans for vacation in April which have been the time after the first round was finished. This was done before the season had ended. Bowman was livid at this because this meant that the player involved thought the Sabres would be gone after the first round. That just tells you some of the expectations from individual players at that time. Again, I have NO IDEA if it was Andreychuk.
