I say keep the 2nd round pick and let his contract run out in 2 years. I don't see cap space being an issue with this team - TPC
We’re in the market of gaining assets, not giving them up. I don’t think there’s a chance in hell that we’re going to give up anything to get rid of Shatty, Smith or especially Staal. Just have to accept they’re here.

also this team isn't competing for anything while those guys are here
Pavel Buchnevich is ranked 15th in points among 2013 drafted players, but only ranked 30th in games played. Make of it what you want. Maybe he isn't as disappointing as people think he is #NYR

nothing spectacular but I like how hes trending up - mrn22
I don't think he ever was "dissapointing", I think a lot of the fanbase for whatever reason thought he was the next Pavel Bure instead of a third round pick with flaws, but that had a higher ceiling than other third rounders. It's good that it seems he's figuring it out.
To Edm
Lias
Fast
Nam/Vesey/or Buch, a decent player
And one of the 2nds
*Add Shatty and any other particulars, but he has a NTC I’m sure he wouldn’t want edm
To NYR
Darnell Nurse
Zach Kassian
Regardless if Shattenkirk refuses to go there I think is a good frame work deal. Rangers get a legit top pr Dman and some more Lemiuex types, and Edm get some capable fowards which they need bad.
Sign me up for this:
12 Forwards (w/o Nam)
Panarin
Zib
Kreider
Vesey
Buch
Lemieux
Kravtsov
Strome
Chytil
Howden
Nieves
Kassian
Maybe a Hughes, Pozislcjwuv (whatever his name is lol) or Kaako
Definitely playing better. Zib and Kreids really seemed to hit a wall. Tough to judge players in seasons when they aren't playing for anything - mdw7413
Zib makes some plays that leave me speechless. I think other than Tony D, he's had the most growth this year. He's making ELITE plays all over the ice on a regular basis.

I've been critical of him a lot, but I have to include Buchenvich as a guy who's made some tremendous strides this year
he's an RFA, that contract will be interesting
I expect a 2 year bridge deal, like 2.25 mil a year

Tony, Zib are definitely the most improved. Buch has been much better lately, but I think Zib and Tony(when he wasn't scratched) were the most consistent all year.
Hajek looks real good, but its scary to think whats going on in the Pack that he was that bad down there. That place needs a overhaul top to bottom.
