I am hoping for something like:
Giroux - Patrick - Konecny
Lindblom - Couturier - Raffl
van Riemsdyk - Laughton - Hartmen
Varone/Knight - Bailey
7 defenders |

Will they ever dress Morin? or will they wait until they start to go on a skid?

The kid has played three games in the last year plus. He is not ready or up to speed enough to insert in the line up, certainly not against the defending champs and division lesders. |

Hit the Caps hard and hit them often. They are still a bunch of mainly Euros who would rather play the finesse game. Create traffic, get pucks deep and put shots on net, scrap for garbage. Get er done. |

I am not one for a defenseman playing forward.... BUT if there is ever a time to try it out, it would be tonight if Patrick can't go.

How will he get ready or be up to speed without seeing action? Practice does not get you up to game speed. They can't send him down to Lehigh because he would have to clear waivers. The only way to see what you have with Morin is by playing him. |

He’s coming off an acl. The Injury is not even a year old I think. He shouldn’t play imo |

Hell, I thought they might try this very scenario when Jake was out and NoPa went down the other day.
Brings back fond memories of Sami Kapanen getting moved to D, in the playoffs one year. Was that 2004? Philly's D was decimated that year. Kapanen did pretty well with the shift.

Ever again? He has played a few games in Lehigh. IMO you have to know what your going in with next season. If he does good that awesome. If he stinks it up, that's fine too, it might allow him to clear waivers and get a bit more AHL time to warm back up. |

If there is any defenseman that could transition to forward temporarily it would be Ghost. He is already struggling on defense so your not really hurting the defense by moving him. And it might allow him to just focus on offense for a bit and maybe to forget his defensive woes. And if he forgets about them, then maybe he will have some confidence coming back onto defense. |

Here we go! Thin at center again and instead of doing the smart thing, Giroux at center, he’s on wing. On top of being think at center, we are now thin at forward because we’re going seven defensemen!
PP side, this is why Gordon won’t be our head coach next season. |

He's been medically cleared to play by the teams physician as of February 27. The Flyers aren't acquiring interest by simply possessing the asset. The handling of Morin was a bit suspect last season when he made the team but didn't. Drafting him was always a swing for the fences/risky move. At some point the Flyers should try and see how it all works out. |

Big 2 points out there tonight. Doesn't matter if it's regulation or OT. Just get them. I was surprised how well we handled the adversity against the Isles. Hopefully we have our big boy pants on tonight too. Tough ask but stranger things have happened this season. |
