We had to go 12-3-1 to get to 97 pts... - bulet13
Ok, that's one loss, they weren't going to win them all. |

Was pissed when they sucked tonight and odds are they won't win. Still fun to watch when they are into like this. This is a favorite past time and I enjoy it when they make a game of it

Dude I know and just chuckle at them. I am I realist. They have the ever so tiny chance. They are playing the defending champs. Caps have more talent. Also doesn't matter how many or when they scored or gave up goals. Game is 60 minutes and the score at the end of 60 is what counts. |

What is the team's record under Gordon now? I've gotta say I have issue with them keeping him on. Obviously you still have to reach out to Q in the off-season but Gordon is getting wins and you can't argue with that. - hereticpride
When the Power Play Finally turned a corner by putting Giroux, Voracek, Simmonds, JvR and Ghost on the top unit, the problem became that it seemed like all five players were outside of their nature positions. I feel by Giroux playing the right half wall, Voracek playing the top of the umbrella and Simmonds playing the slot, Gordon especially did all three of these players a disservice.
I don’t understand trading for Talbot, if your coach is gonna play Elliot every night. In a healthy line up, I don’t understand putting Giroux on wing and playing seven defensemen. Corbin Knight offers nothing, Justin Bailey is also borderline. Michael Raffl is on our (frank)in top line, when we should be forcing JvR to be that guy, especially with Jake out!!
I can see the good Scott Gordon has brought to the team but I can see the disadvantages. I wouldn’t offer him anything more than an assistant coach spot in the offseason because Sanheim, Myers and Hägg were developed under his watch at some point. We need a big fish.
Coaching aside, for those who love Ryan Hartman and believe he’s a third liner, I disagree. I know I’m on an island alone but I already lack faith in Knight and Bailey, how has Hartman shown he’s miles ahead of those two guys? I think Hartman is a really good FOURTH LINER on a contending team. |

Gordon should have pulled Elliott after the 3rd goal. First one he had no chance but the next three goals were weak |

I can’t believe Elliott has been caring the mail since we traded for Talbot. |

Well, Hartman is a decent third liner now and will be s very good fourth liner when we get more talent on the team.

He has played well. No reason for him not to. Gordon is coach, he puts the guy in he believes has the best shot at winning. He didnt pick correctly tonight. |
