Yep, the tools in my toolbox are angry and formed a PAC to get the attention they deserve, and the term banned. At some point every term will be offensive to someone, somewhere. That was the crux of my previous posts on the subject. That, and who gets to decide what is and isn’t offensive. Like most other subjects, the self anointed hero’s of the created victims, know what’s best......NOT!! - Hokeeguy9
I’m coming in late on this discussion, but think I get the gist of it and what youre saying seems like a bit of an overreaction . Why is being sensitive to someone else such a chore? In what way is it devisive? It’s only devisive for those who are unwilling to be sensitive to other people’s feelings. It’s not all that difficult to deal with. The person or people who are offended get to decide what’s offensive. It’s no crime to be unaware of your offense. But when you are made aware of it it’s not that tough to try not to do it anymore. I guarantee you that you will still be able to communicate. My old college roommate is Greek Orthodox. He told me he didn’t like me using the word “Jesus” as an exclamation. You know...like...”Jesus, that car almost hit me!” It didn’t even occur to me I was saying it. My friend has deep religious beliefs. He’s a good person and I don’t want to offend him, so I stopped using that word. It was a little adjustment for me, but worth the effort. I guess it could have been devisive if I told him he’s being silly and overly sensitive and he should just toughen up, but since he was (and still is) my friend I just adjusted. Also he was a good 5 inches taller and 75 pounds heavier than me and I once saw him move a small sports car by lifting it by the bumper and he could crush my head with his giant paw if I didn’t stop. |

And yes, "retard" is generally out of favor in society these days. You might get a gentle warning if you are in second grade, but after that you can be expected to know it's not ok. Not because you are insulting your intended target, but because you are devaluing the lives of those among us who are intellectually challenged or related to someone who is.
I think anyone who can use a keyboard should be capable of putting together a complaint about someone's hockey ability without resorting to use of pejorative words. - bodiva88
Gotta admit...I had to look up ‘perjorative’. Good word . |

Probably late, but just run an HDMI from the laptop to the TV? - BenderRodriguez
correct, this is the best way because microsoft basis your location on ip address whereas apple, fire stick, roku, etc. base your location on google or similar mapping services so you cannot hide your location with these devices. i have mlb.tv with unlocator and the only way i can watch the phils when they play the nats is via pc and hdmi otherwise i have to use the nats feed off of directv and their announcers are the worst homers out there. i live in NC which is considered nats/orioles territory. |

As long as they don't wear those stadium series abominations again I'll deal these. They're not great, but they're not awful either. |

I don't get how you can go back and rule a goal once play continues when you have so many bs calls that disallow goals.
You wanna rule it a goal, fine. But put time back on the clock. |

They reset the clock to the time the goal was scored. |

I enjoyed all of it. Especially all the behind the scenes stuff and the interaction of the players on the ice. Always wonder what goes on out there other than the visual. I got a kick out the Pens coach calling out the next shift and every player had a nickname but then it was Nick Bjugstad, your up next. I guess he didnt get a nickname yet. - MJL
It is really fun to watch. I might watch it again tomorrow. |

Darn Elliott back to earth. Season over - THE EVIL WITHIN
Season was over before they even made the coaching change tbh.
Honestly, if they made it in it would have to be a near historic level comeback.

He has had issues with his glove since he came back. Several shaky goals off the glove hand. Always seems to be one a game. |

Yeah, we all no it's true but it's been more fun to watch and there was, is, the ever so slimmest chance of sneaking in with the perfect storm. |

What is the team's record under Gordon now? I've gotta say I have issue with them keeping him on. Obviously you still have to reach out to Q in the off-season but Gordon is getting wins and you can't argue with that. - hereticpride
