you would be completely wrong. it is adjusted - Eklund
Why lie?
Not including tonight's results, regular season Vegas has 68 regulation wins, 12 OT wins, and 7 shootout wins; 87 total . Plus 13 total in the playoffs. Vegas has 50 regulation losses, 7 regular season OT losses, and 5 SO losses in the regular season. Plus 7 total playoff losses.
Regular season, Vegas has won 87 total, lost 62 total; that's a winning percentage of .584
Regular season, ignoring SO entirely, Vegas has won 80, lost 57. Winning percentage of .583
Regular season + playoffs, Vegas has won 100 total, lost 69 total. Winning percentage of .591
Regular season + playoffs, ignoring SO entirely, Vegas has won 93, lost 64. Winning percentage of .592
But if you treat OT/SO losses as ties; they've won 87 lost 50. Winning percentage of .635
Your numbers have Vegas at a winning percentage of .634.
You clearly haven't adjusted for anything at all. You just ignored the playoffs, and posted the percentage of points earned as if it was winning percentage. Of course that makes teams who've benefited from 3 point games most of their existence higher up on the list.
If you've actually adjusted, post what numbers you are using for Vegas. |

Eklund: The NHL Franchise All-Time Standings May Really Shock You. Buzz@2 - Eklund
#24-New Jersey Devils started in Colorado as the Rockies. So if you are going to do a report and list some teams where they originally started (#31 Arizona -Winnipeg, #30Carolina-Hartford, #18Dallas-Minnesota, etc etc ) you best be sure to include all the correct starting locations.
Plus why go through all this trouble? Are you really that bored today ? |

The Devils started in Kansas City as the Scouts and lost a poop ton of games. They stayed 2 years at Kemper Stadium before heading to Colorado.

As per my early afternoon comment in correcting EK's error made on his "70's Expansion" listing, I couldn't quickly recall at that time, the name of the Kansas City Scouts home rink for the 1974/75 & 1975/76 seasons, as being the "Kemper Arena" for those 2 horrendous losing seasons. (I believe that was technically its name after seeing you mention that first name, "Kemper").
That, prior to them bolting to Denver to become the Colorado Rockies effective the following season through the 1981/82 campaign, in playing their home games I believe at the "McNichols Arena", before relocating East ultimately to become the NJ Devils.
I don't believe that member you later corrected had read my earlier 1:48 pm comment, or if that member did so, it was likely while being in the "condition" of that member's own name. |

by the way Ek, the California Seals became the Oakland Seals who became the California Golden Seals. all of this between 1967 and 1975. then they moved to Cleveland and became the Barons for two seasons. the Barons merged with the struggling North Stars in 1978.
so please adjust the numbers accordingly. |
