Great points but (frank) patience, we've given enough of our labor to support millionaires who have no pride. I still believe Jacks the prob.

There's the door, don't let the knob hit you on the ass on the way out. It's people that give them money no matter what they do that are the problem. If you hit them in the wallet they'll get the message real quick. It's certainly better than the status quo ante.

Todd McShay had a mock draft come out today

Has us taking Metcalf at #9
I’ve been saying i don’t think there’s a WR worthy of picking that high...
but after that 40 time,
and at his size- WOW

Saw McShay compare him to Mike Evans a couple weeks ago

Ideally, we trade down with WSH and pick up an extra pick or 2
Could possibly get Metcalf at 15 still
And if not, Brown from Oklahoma should be there if we wanna go WR in Round1

If not...
it’s actually a pretty deep draft for WRs
So we could go in a variety of directions with our top pick

This draft is deep in all positions the Bills are in dire need of improving. WR, TE and OL. I like the idea of trading down. Andre Dillard is one of my favorite 1st round targets. He had a nice Senior Bowl week of practice. Ed Oliver sounds like he could be tough to resist for them, but I hope they do. Chris Trapasso was on Schopp and BD saying he could be Donald good. As long as they come away with one of Metcalf, Hockenson, Dillard, Hollywood or AJ Brown or Irv Smith Jr. I think I’m good. Would be unbelievable if they came away with two of them. One WR that I couldn’t help notice at the combine because he was right next to Metcalf was OSU’s Terry McLaurin. 4.35 and crushed 225 18 times.

OL is kinda deep at guard, but not tackle
Especially not LT
I don’t like taking O-line in round 1,
so I’d like to see us look at free agency for a tackle

Oliver I’d pass on, especially at pick 9
There’s a reason he’s dropped
Maybe Jeffrey Simmonds falls to us in round 2?
He’d likely be a top5 pick if not for his injury
That street fight he was in probably keeps the Bills from considering him though
Dre’Mont Jones should be there in R2 for us though

Maybe a TE like Caleb Wilson (ucla) in the 3rd?
Or a WR if we haven’t taken one yet
Maybe even a 2nd WR if we have?

At #9...
i still want Devin White
Build our LB group around him & Edmunds for the next 8-10yrs
Otherwise,
Metcalf is probably my choice

Ideally, we trade down to 15 though
Would still have plenty of options there

I think the Bill's are gonna have a tough time passing on ed Oliver.

Not saying they should pick him, but he would fit in well.

Our d is based on eating up players up front.

He’s definitely an option
Just makes me nervous
Seems like he’s high risk / high reward

I’d like a “sure thing” picking in the Top10

Also...
DT is very deep this year
At least 1 of Simmonds, Tillery, Jones will drop to us in round 2 (most likely)
After them,
there’s not really too many more inside pass rusher types...
Maybe Zack Allen (BC), Slayton (‘Cuse) or Omenihu (Texas)?
Run stuffers like Wise (Kansas), Alexander (LSU), & Gaines (Washington) will be around later in rounds 4 & 5

So lots of options for the interior D-line throughout the draft

Ovechkin will score 900 by the time he retires.

Which will be at the age of 45 like Jagr. Dude is a fukkin tank.

Trouba could be traded at the draft

Ken Campbell from The Hockey News doesn’t think he wants to play there anymore & thinks both sides will be ready to move on this offseason

Interesting
I’m guessing a lot of teams will be interested

He’d be the perfect long term partner for Dahlin. Just depends if he’d want to sign here and what it would cost to trade for him.

No , I'm like every other Sabres fan, Way tired of losing, way tired of watching every junior gm get their big chance in the 716 just to ruin the team and continually set it back.

Maybe you like mediocre which would be an improvement for this team, but I don't. My money's earned off the sweat of my labor just to afford a game or two in person I don't want to see a team that runs like a car with a flat tire.

I'd love to have him, but I would assume so as well, and also the cost to acquire him will be astronomical. The cost to acquire coupled with the Cap hit I think is out of the Sabres league given the number of holes they need to fill to be a playoff team.
I'd rather they find a grisly, cheaper vet to carry over until they can see what some in the pipeline look like.

I wonder if we need to pair another stud with him though

Dahlin is already so good that he’s made Bogosian look (mostly) useful

We may just need someone steady for him,
like Straalman has been for Hedman

I like straalman as well but he’s getting up there in age and can he play 20+ minutes a night over the duration of an 82 game season and hopefully playoffs next year ? Trouba can be Dahlin’s partner or anchor his own pair
