A couple of other thoughts on last night's game:

- Given that the Canucks might actually be good enough to beat teams at the top of the standings, perhaps it would be better for the Leafs and their fans if the league changed the start time of mid-week games to 4pm as well.

- Also, I think it would help the broadcast crew if the Leafs could wear their wonderful blue jerseys and the Canucks wear their whites.

He may still be a Canucks fan but he's done a good job of learning the eastern media ways. They don't dare go more than 20 seconds without focusing the conversation on the Leafs or pumping their tires.

It's like they've done studies to determine the exact tolerance of the cult's collective attention span and are terrified they'll change the channel en mass if the dialogue doesn't completely hold their interest.

It's great that they actually mention some of the opponent's names, explain who they are and how things have been going for them (and stuff), because that's helpful for the Leaf fans. However for the rest of us it feels like we're eavesdropping on a private conversation.

I was thinking that there should be a quid pro quo for these arbitrary time changes. For every hour they move our home games forward, their home game start times against western teams should be moved back.

See how their season ticket holders react to an 8 or 9pm start time.

Most players want to win lol...but eventually the true players character colors come out.

Instead of staying and helping the kids along (like what was done for him) he just chose to up and bail the first sign of the team not getting back to the cup finals. Plus all the other back door bulsh!t he was invovled with regarding bashing teammates and such. Lost my last bit of respect for the clown when I heard he was bashing the Nucks organization/players/coaches/mngt to Patrick Kane at that one Olympics they were at together. He was caught red handed doing it but of course denied it all including the trade requests lol.

As a fan I appreciated what he tried to do here but really he's a fu*cking tool. Seeya.

I highly doubt Canucks make playoffs, but, they have 9 very winnable games and 6 games against good teams, so who knows.
It is just nice too see the boys win against the Worst Team Ever.

Ya it's starting to look like Marky. When Marky let in that 2nd goal muffin then tightened up for the W credit where its due. The Marky of last year would have followed with another muffin or two. Then Anderson took over for the muffins wow...weak goals. I'd be concerned again going in the PO's with Anderson...

He is a bi-polar G in the playoffs. 50% terribad games... 50% stands on his head. At best that will get you into the 2nd round. With the way their D plays... I doubt they get out of the 1st round.
