Its funny how this rumour was debunked. Felt like a PR move. All I know is a friend of mine working for the Canucks and friends with 2 past management groups,,, who use to meet up with Canucks brass at golf courses in California/Arizona etc tells me it was true. My uncle(recent RIP) who was friends with Canucks front office people and knew the owner on a business level said it was true.

I'm going to go with true on this one. My friend very well may be Scooby's hairdresser. I'm serious. Too many coincidences.

Most players want to win lol...but eventually the true players character colors come out.

Instead of staying and helping the kids along (like what was done for him) he just chose to up and bail the first sign of the team not getting back to the cup finals. Plus all the other back door bulsh!t he was invovled with regarding bashing teammates and such. Lost my last bit of respect for the clown when I heard he was bashing the Nucks organization/players/coaches/mngt to Patrick Kane at that one Olympics they were at together. He was caught red handed doing it but of course denied it all including the trade requests lol.

As a fan I appreciated what he tried to do here but really he's a fu*cking tool. Seeya.

Sure, I can understand why people are upset he wanted out but I dont really care about the whole Olympics stuff. I've female doged about the company i work for to my friends on my own time but that doesn't change my work ethic on company time.

Theres a lot more poopty ways he could of dealt with it.

Had he been honest about, the fanbase would of cried about him ala Panarin.
