Listening to the game instead of watching it. Sounds fast. |

No matter how good you play the Leafs, they seem more often than not to steal the game late in the 3rd. Unbelievable how many times I've seen this play out this season. I expect that in this game one way or another. |

Same with the Flames, they dominate 3rd periods. Speed and skill wears out their opponents. |

Exactly. I remember when the Canucks were doing that over and over during the Sedins prime years.

The speed was left up to the rest of the team.

He's getting pretty good at it from the press box/med room. What a mistake this would be. Please dont sign.

Big picture:
I think Benning needs to go asap. Brackett can run the draft, but the NHL moves are mediocre at best under these guys. |

2 years would be fine with me. Beats signing Myers for 5+ years. |

It doesnt bother you that he's out at least a 3rd of the seasons and takes up a left spot for a prospect?

Of course.
It's more about being afraid of the alternative. I have low faith in this regime's ability to spend money wisely on a dman to replace him. Look at their track record with NHL dmen they've acquired. It speaks for itself. |

Yes. Who is expecting them to be more than that? How many people thought they would be at the bottom all season? A huge group in here. - boonerbuck
It’s a good point. I pointed it out earlier today as well, the sky will continue to fall in here regardless. |

What's wrong with a one year deal 2 mil to Benn?
Everyone complains about wasting cap space and ridiculous contracts . Why repeat it again with a 3 x6 full NMC ?
I am sure OJ will be top 4 next year
