eklund just did this all wrong. he could have been like "i'm trying to get this site off the ground and hopefully get a press pass and meet players and agents and management people so i can get you guys some info, come along for the ride with me" and taken everybody along on the journey and people probably would have r00ted for him.

but instead he went with the "i have connections and sources and i went to school for journalism, shania, backdoor rinks in alberta in july, etc" and then just went nuts with the ego and a solid decade + of BS and lies. he just made himself into the least likeable person he possibly could.

This is the worst time of year on HockeyBuzz as well. Right after TDD so even Ek isn't stupid enough to suggest GMs are still talking trade. So he has to come up with filler for two months. Not easy when you don't know anything about the game. So I guess its something brain dead like the Buzztron 3000 where he'll try and predict game winners and woefully strike out on them as well.
