Sure other teams will improve but so will we. Only 4 pts out of 21st spot where we should finish and another 5 spots up next year flirting with the WC. Playoffs next year? well maybe not I'll give you that but this team will jump out of the bottom 10 IMO next season.

I'll take that challenge any day of the week and twice on Sundays bro.

In my mens league in Central AB we play with a ton of ex-pro's, AAA mens players, ex Junior A players you name it. At 48 years young I have no issues with the speed...it's the stamina that ends up killing me at this age...lol

Talk to mcsupplement and ask what he is using, he said it but I cant remember the name, it is not banned but it adds 50% to stamina and strength.

Always possible but just can't see it. Hughes next year and you can bet there will be a UFA or two added by Benning lol. Lots of Hockey left this season for us to move to 21st spot. Next year I'm thinking we finish somewhere in the 17-20 range overall IMO.

What about injuries?

I am not talking about him as losing him for nothing. I look at him right now as a B type player. He has value . A team like TO that has cap problems and wants a cheap reliable Dman. They have a few scoring wingers and prospects they can trade for. Lets face it Hughes is going to be the 2 LHD very soon so do you need a 4 mil bottom pair guy?

Those would also all be rookie coaches woth just as much experience as Green with the exception of Eakins. Can’t say im thrilled by oilers sloppy seconds. Just an overall no. I’d take an established coach like Boucher, otherwise Green has done well

why stop at most i'd say all

I don't know why the process has to be slow? Vegas can take a bunch of other teams rejects and can go to the SCF in one year. We have contracts for half a team next year if you trade a couple of players like Tanev and Sutter. Why does it need to take 10 years?

do they have any of their own draft picks on the team yet?

there were given a very unique opportunity and have made the most of it.

a lot of their success came from chemistry but they've been able to solidify a lot with statsny, pacioretty and now stone


maybe hughes and our next draft pick + a ufa or 2 puts us in a better position then we can look at going after a big trade with our hopefully excess assets

but as someone said before, there are a lot of teams in a similar position (colorado, edmonton, phoenix etc) which is why i think it could take time, but maybe we can be next years hurricanes?
