my point there is that we have to wait for our draft picks.
they got a whole team and their draft picks havent even been a factor yet (besides trade chips - and we know what the response to that would be like around here) - BobBot
No you don't have to wait . You have 9 roster spots open this summer. You can bring back the same crew or you can change it up. |

I'm not suggesting they are.
Also, the Panther made the finals relatively quickly but have been mostly a mess since. I still find it annoying however. - golfingsince
Gary changed the rules to help Vegas along. It is what it is. Agree it is annoying. |

Kevin Hayes is a pretty good hockey player. I'd like it if JB could get him in the summer.
He is a type of player van doesn't have |

I don't really have an issue with it. Why not give a new team a chance to win? It helps build up a new market, gives them a chance at creating a fan base and keeping it.
To think that Vegas actually received a 2nd round pick to select Fleury though is hilarious. |

Yeah I mean you’re always going to be looking for plus value from your roster filler but we still need more high end talent |

You also don't have to change out all 9 roster spots to have a huge impact. You can bring in new blood and slide old blood down the depth chart. |

If Benning can trade for a 2 RHD , a top 6 forward and one more impact player then you improve.
You have to dump some of the rubbish. |

Those would also all be rookie coaches woth just as much experience as Green with the exception of Eakins. Can’t say im thrilled by oilers sloppy seconds. Just an overall no. I’d take an established coach like Boucher, otherwise Green has done well - neem55
Your opinion, Green has shown his inadequacy to coach a NHL squad, I’ll take quennville or Sutter any day, even Boucher, not sloppy seconds |

Well he didnt but he’s shown to have good talent since then. Another guy i cant imagine being brought here. When’s the last time we attracted a high profile coach? - neem55
When management refuses to interview for the position how would we know that this is not an attractive place for a high profile coach. |

Dumb GM's gave Vegas a good team not Bettman. They would of been better off than other expansion teams but they got reaaly good talent and lots of picks and i doubt the same mistakes happen when Seattle comes in. |

You would need to offer him Babcock money to give up his role as Chairman of. priemere league football team. - 1970vintage

I understand but we have also seen different ownership over those years also, I liked Quinn, Neilson, Vigneault, Crawford, Neale and even Renney .
To me Green is in bob McCammon quality. |

They also picked up a dozen or so good picks that they have been able to use in trades.
Clb gave Karlsson, 1st and 2nd to protect Anderson or Johnson or Korpisolo..... |
