We dont have cap space, especially to overpay a top player. There is NO way Fletcher gives up 4 1st round picks and overpays for Marner. We still have a lot of RFAs to sign ourselves going forward. We can afford MAYBE 11 mill but TOR will match that easily.

If you swap Farabee for Laughton that might get it done. Farabee could turn out to be a Marner though. NOT sure how deep into our prospects I want to dip. Marner is a great player but I've seen Farabee make some sic moves too.

I may be looking too far into the d pairings but anyone else find it impressive that Myers is paired with Ghost. Ghost has struggled this season and for them to put Myers with him says a lot about his ability and potential.

For as slow of a start as he had it's nice to see lindblom nearing the 20 goal mark.
If we can hit on more late round gems lindblom it would really boost and speed up the franchise going forward.
