He’s been top 4 in the NHL for points per/60 over the last 3 seasons

I seriously doubt that stat is true.

But let's say that is true. I checked naturalstattrick and it says he has 60 points at 5v5. Chiarot has 37 in 695 less minutes

If you use the p60 rates of both Trouba (1.09) and Chiarot (.86) and use the same ice time for both, you get a 10 point bump for Chiarot. So that's 13 points over the course of 183 games.

At a p60 5v5 Trouba is producing 1 point more than Chiarot every 14 games. That's hardly what i would call a great offensive defensemen.

Other than all the hand-picked stats, its all relative to the Jets being one of the top scoring teams the last three years. Trouba just has to touch the puck every once in a while and he'll get an assist . He's not known for astute passes or for scoring goals . Those accolades go to Buff and Myers , and maybe one day Niku.

Anyways boys, I am taking off for 3 weeks. Hopefully the Jets clinch 1st place while I am gone. Talk to you all when I am back!

I agree. I just wanted to point out that offensively Trouba is not helping a team out much more than Chiarot on a 5v5 basis

Lemieux has had a good start as a
Ranger. 5 points in 7 games.
Glad that he is getting a chance.

Heard that Babcock is not happy with the Lindholm - Petan trade.

What’s up with Evander ?
