1 game?
they got dominated like this 6 days ago against the same team. - classic321
Yes I know, I’m quoting manvanfan, a few times tonight he has stated it’s only one game. |

People have been too extreme on both sides. We were not as good as we appeared to be prior to the all star break and we are not as bad as we look now - NorthNuck

I agree dragon, makes green look ....well ....quite green - Makita
Give him some time.
This time of year isn't really the time to judge him as players are mega deflated with the playoffs out of reach.
Personally I think he is the best coach we've had when talking about our young players. I feel we could tweak our assistant coaches though.....mainly brown and Baumgartner |

Nope your wrong, this is just an aberration, only one game, not at all indicative of the Canucks talent or skill set |

I/we have no idea if they’d be further ahead than they are now, if they’d have decided to rebuild instead of competing for the sake of the twins, logic says they would be, in terms of youth. Certainly not a guarantee though.

Can we decide that after the draft lotto and see how far they drop? |

LOL...one of 68; they’ve lost 31 times and probably 38/39/40 without Markstrom. |

Nobody laughed at the prospect of us hiring Gallant, except that maybe we knew the Canucks had little chance of landing him.
Your "knowledge of coaches" called this the best coaching staff the Canucks had ever assembled. - golfingsince
You left stuff out
I was saying that it more complete than ever before. Not that this was the mount Olympus of staff but that Vancouver had consistently had a bunch of bozos for assistants throughout our history. So because thought went into the choices we have he most compPlete staff in our history. ....by default. |

No, because they’re more than one more player from being playoff competitive. |

CBC suggesting Vancouver wouldn't be as bad in this game and this week if they didn't trade Gudbranson.
That's the hard hitting analysis I came for. |

I know your stance on green and the assistants, I actually do not like how he has treated our youth, I don’t like how he has the team prepared for games, I don’t like his systems, strategies, set plays, in game adjustments, changing the plan for each individual team. You don’t prepare for Ottawa the same as you prepare for Vegas, but I see no adjustments from green |

I would suggest he’s totally pumped to play in an nhl game, regardless of who it’s for. The best young players in the world usually go to the worst teams |

I have seen that in some games and the opposite in other games. Give him a bit of time, he is very smart. There are of course other factors behind the scenes we wouldn't know about.
Bright young coach with some good young players. We've seen them do really well this season too. Give them time |

It's just that this line of thinking is not as fun because you dont ever get to be furious or hysterical or overly critical of everyone and everything |
