I was at the Coyotes / Flames game the other night, he played well and he played a lot.
I was happy they lost 2-0 though |

Trust me I know it is terrible but just marginally over Edler Tanev Hutton but oh so much cheaper.

I question my Bro-in-law asked me the other day. Trading Jacob Markstrom at the draft for a pick (similar to trading Schneider for 9oa).
Quite possible to sign another goalie Howard, Ward, Talbot, Mrazek to split the games with Demko next season.
Markstrom's value may never be higher considering he still has another year left on his contract.
It may not help the Canucks next season but could be good in the long run of things. |

They are doing good with their young D
Over season them in the AHL ...
(frank) it must be nice to go golfing and catch a game in the same day |

They should sign a few D men that are good enough to play second and third pairing and then if the rookies can’t beat them out send them down ....let them over develop ....if they play lights out ...trade someone for a pick |

I would like them to go all in one way or the other. Either go all in and try to get the top draft pick for 2 years or go all in and change the roster. |

There’s people that want to tank, and I can understand where they’re coming from. There’s people who want to be competitive and I can understand where they’re coming from too. What I don’t understand is the people who want to tank and yet get upset when they suck. - CubanBuffet
True
I’m definitely cool with this, but I’m frustrated that it’s happening repeatedly while the team is making moves to be “competitive”
It’s bittersweet |

No chance you could get a first for Markstrom so no need to even contemplate trading him

I’m sorry but I don’t like all these current goalies passing older goalies for wins...the changes from no OT to 5 on 5 OT to shootout to 4 on 4 to 3 on 3 has just created more wins... it’s like the (frank)ing nfl passing records ...the rules in different eras (frank) with the record books |

If they do go the tank plan ...just keep any rookie D out of it
Beside Quinn ...I think he could handle proper minutes on a bad team |

Yes and i was saying to fire WD and grab gallant, that he was a top talent coach. Most here laughed because he was a coach kicked to the curb.

I love the nfl but 20-25 years ago half these QBs would be injured ...Brady would be retired and the (frank)ing pats wouldn’t be 17 time defending champs ....(frank) it feels like they are sometimes lol
Plus the innovative play calling has got shovel and dump passes to open backs that just tacks on the passing yards |

I actually enjoy the more pass-heavy NFL, but I miss the big open field hits more than the 40+ run plays.
Same with the NHL, I like the non-grabbing era of hockey but I miss the big hits that are becoming more rare with each passing season.
