I think Vancouver comes out smoking against the Rangers. EP has a big game. I dont think we see Quinn until the weekend at the earliest.

EP is so far ahead of the development curve he’s having his sophomore slump in his rookie season, needs to pop a goal in order to solidify the Calder.

I thought Pressy was still stuck in the last thread arguing with all his other alts?

On a bit of a Les Zeppelin kick right now and came across this Jimmy Page quote that’s just too good not to share.

“On ‘The Battle of Evermore,’ a mandolin was lying around. It wasn’t mine, it was Jonesey’s. I just picked it up, gotnthe chords, and it sort of started happening. I did it more or less straight off. But, you see, that’s fingerpicking again, going back to the studio days and developing a certain amount of technique - at least enough to be adapted and used. My fingerpicking is a sort of cross between Pete Seeger, Earl Scruggs, and total incompetence.”

Also, you will note the nickname, making this hockey related, and therefore exempt from flagging.

Have you seen the “It Might Get Loud” documentary with Page, the Edge, and Jack White? It’s pretty great, especially if you like of one the others (I’m a big Jack White fan)

Fills in an age gap, we can pretend, in hindsight, that JB had an extra 7th round pick in 2016.

I come back every now and again where I listen to the albums non stop for a week or so, get the Led out as they say. There’s always something on my playlist, but this is total immersion.

It would be nice to see EP bust out of it with a goal tomorrow.

I predict 3 point game, break the mini slump. Lundquist takes him out for dinner after and everyone is merry

Hey, you guys have been talking about Zeppelin while I've been writing the blog!

I'm currently reading the new biography of their manager, Peter Grant, called 'Bring It On Home.' I thought about the hockey nickname thing last night when the author rattled off Jonesy, Pagey, Bonzo and Percy.

I'm enjoying the book. It's well-researched and seems to cover some new ground compared to other well-known Zep bios like 'Hammer of the Gods.'

Anyway, here's the new blog:
