He's pretty much everything we need and should be looking for in a draft pick: elite skater, work ethic through the roof, elite scoring (26G on the year), has some bite and physicality to his game, great passer, silky mitts and a June birthday Drafting him would allow us to move one of Klefbom or Nurse within two years- maybe less.

I think I'm more cautious that it's OUR recent traction that'll pull us out of reach of him (barring a lottery win). I think he'll be in that 6 to 8 range depending on who picks there. If someone wants a Dman, he's the obvious pick unless someone wants the bigger frame of Broberg or Harley (unlikely).

Yeah, but it's a shallow draft for D and both he and Harley are big boom or bust guys. The perfect conditions for a team to reach for one of them.
