Muzzin was a really good pickup for them. But their forwards have no grit. Marchand will lick them all.

I'd say Marner has the hard work, dogged on the puck and throw his body on the line kind of effort that I think it far more important than physical toughness. I think that's the thing they miss out on more in their forwards. They have some real elite board play guys in Tavares and Matthews for top separate lines.

What'll hurt them is their D's difficulties along the boards and in the slot. Muzzin will help but Gardiner, Dermott and Zaitsev are pretty weak in those regards and I haven't seen enough evidence to convince me Rielly is that far beyond average in those respects, either.
