It's not doom and gloom. Leafs are a good team for sure. Not close enough though. Splooged too early with the trades imo. It's the "still early" crew all over again.
I'm just saying it's not all the fault of Hunwick, Martin, Polak, Lindholm or any other 4th line forward/3rd pairing dman.
They're still further away than that imo.

It's going to take a lot of luck to get past rd1. But you play the games and see what happens.
This team is not even close to what Dubas wants Imo. Still a lot of work to do.
Nothing about what he is doing alarms me. He has been aggressive in spots and patient in others. I suspect the d gets a decent overhaul for next season |
