I want to like Zaitsev but you can’t say he is a good outlet passer. He’s not big or overly physical. He was suppose to be more of an offensive defenceman threat but he hasn’t been that since he signed his contract. Offensive plays die with him.

He actually has fairly impressive offensive numbers when not paired with Gardiner. Not amazing, but fairly impressive. Around the 40 point a season mark (pro rated)
