I guess we can cling to the hope that it wasn't Reilly who said it (no penalty called on the play) or thst it wasn't wasn't said at all(the flintor explanation ) |

Just getting caught up on this, I have no idea what/who said what, but on the Radio they are talking like he 100% said it, but I see others that say they dont think so.
Rielly should just admit it if he did and deal with it.
i havent listened to it yet so no idea
edit, listening to this. That does not sound like F* to me

That's just it... Rielly was right beside the ref when he said whatever he said, and it was directed toward him. If he did direct a slur towards him, I don't see how he doesn't call a penalty right there. |

I imagine that if it was indeed him well see him admit it and offer apology for it.

Everyone will want their pound of flesh from the guy, this might really mess with his head at this important juncture of the season. Understanding and forgiveness aren't exactly virtues in society anymore with things like this |

Yeah that's my hope here. He clearly said something to the ref, so if it was a slur Then why ref didn't call a penalty there or even react.
As flintor pointed out seems like the "(frank)" and the 2nd part that is heard are 2 different voices. |

Maybe the reference was to a bundle of sticks or the old fashioned British recipe for meatballs.

Yup. I guess that Scotty Bowman better hand back all his Stanley cups - didn't play in the NHL so he clearly knows nothing... |

fire Dubas.
both for not doing his job before trade deadline.
and for not having his players' back.
guy is more worries about hiring a 'diverse staff'than winning a stanley cup.
saying "(frank)ing fa**ot" during a game doesn't mean you hate gay people.
apparently a "i'm going to kill you!" in the heat of the moment is way less worse than saying fa****... what a poopty mentality a lot of people have. pretending to be politically correct but not really doing anything.
as well - first world problems ; people lose their poop over a bad word and at he same time the same governments that are now being so hard defending lgbtqsievf rights are bombing innocent children in other parts of the world for bad reasons. sone perspective please sirs.. - plantheparade

....were created as a dish that would utilize several parts of the animal—traditionally pig—including the heart, liver, and belly. The ball of ground pork originated in Western England as cheap food for the common country folk, and the first record of the dish in print was in 1851. |

I'v never heard Rag it before, but I guess its a thing.
We will see what the NHL comes up with, but at this time I cant believe MR would say that, nothing in his career with the Leafs has shown he is that person.
If he did, well suspend away, and he deserves whatever he gets |

Id say he'd get 2 games for it and $5k fine. Shaw got 1 playoff game and a $5k fine.
Just what the Leafs would need another D man gone. Holl on the top pairing? |
