Did you play hockey ever? I ask because it's something people who play would know more than what you would hear on TV. Ask the players I'd say 95% know what it means

I played for 10 years and never heard it personally

Yeah, I read Wiki and know what it means...

I hope you get some sleep tonight knowing many hockey fans haven't heard the term before... It must be a struggle for you to have all that knowledge in your brain...

*thoughts and prayers*

Un called for but I can take it. Didn't mean anything negative over it.

Can confirm: "rag it" absolutely is a hockey term.

It means to skate around with the puck in low-danger areas - hang on to it away from opposition to kill time.

- Atomic Wedgie

Cmon that doesn't fit these people's agendas. Personally I hope the league asks and the linesman says "yup someone yelled rag it from the bench" and all these martyrs fall on their swords

Who had possession at the time: Tampa or Toronto?

I would hope that if a guy was yelling "rag it", he would step forward.

Please note: I haven't heard the clip.

Probably depends on where you played and what level you played at on whether you have heard it or not.

I was gonna say that but then this guy played there and said the following (he doesn't seem to be the smartest guy either)

It was shot down the ice and a Tampa guy was chasing it. It does sound like two different voices

- TheMussel

Look if he said it he was wrong but by agendas I mean all these people that jump all over people before the facts are presented. Look at the white kid and the native American banging the drum and the jussie smollett thing. Oh it was a race crime they all said then it turned out he hired two people to fake it.

The second voice clearly comes from the grassy knoll behind the timekeeper's box.
