If rag it was even what was said.
Hard to tell, unless you have programs to clean up the audio.
The truth will come out, until then its just bs from both sides. - Fakepartofme
I guess the one guy who will be able to sort everything out is the ref who Rielly was speaking to?
He's pretty much the only one who can clear this up. |

Appropriate punishment would be to ban Toronto from the playoffs and to award Matthews to DET. |

We always just yelled "time" like, you've got time. Get the puck and make a good play, not a rushed one. And "kill it", as in kill the clock/run out the clock.
We're a simple folk. - GreatGigInTheSky
Simple folk I get lol. I grew up in the 70's and 80 as a long haired ginger playing hockey. It was the norm back then to be called a (frank)ing Fa-word and that was just your friends being nice to you that day. Grew thick skin over the years which a lot of today's gen need to do. IMO

People just need to suck it up and just remove the word from their lexicon. |

Ur what, 50 something?? It was common for me growing up too, I’m 31.. The times have changed and I guess some get left behind in their own ignorance. It’s absolutely not okay to use that, regardless of how it was in the past. |

The opening scene of the 1st Naked Gun film has OJ dressed in black with a knit cap and gloves. It's creepy now |

Yeah, it was pretty common on my hockey team(s) growing up, I'm 38.. We'd even use that word when referencing our own teammates.. I agree it's not ok to use anymore. If Rielly did say it, then he deserves the suspension. |

The evidence now suggests he didn't do it, but it's a good discussion to have anyway. |

I’m glad society has changed and the majority of ppl stand up to hate. In highschool (2000-2005) that was an automatic fight word. (some) Men are having a very difficult time adjust to the new norms. I give them lots of slack because changing albeit necessary, can be hard. Rielly is the product of a testosterone filled competitive environment who was probably coached by ignorant old school coaches. If he said the word he should for sure be suspended, even if it’s for the game I’m going to on Friday. |

What happened and was acceptable before, is not necessarily ok today. It's not nice but not really frowned about if a player calls a ref a piece of sh!t. What makes a racial or general slur unacceptable is this: Through the use of a derogatory word about a group, the person is not offending who the comment is being directed at, rather the group is being is generalized in a negative context. I am sorry if you do not understand this. |

As long as they win, honey badger...
But.. it’s the St.Pats game and a Rielly jersey would be siiiiick!! I was considering it but now (if he said it) zero chance.
I think Freddy wouldn’t let me down. Danes are pretty progressive, no? |
