judging by your comments on here, you're always drunk - plantheparade
No man, I rarely drink.
Also, if I were you I wouldn’t be trying to slag fellow posters. No offence, you’re not very popular in here. |

zaitsev protected? really? I don't think so. Unless Zaitsev is NTC and an automatic protection.. - Delryk
🤣
So out of date there too. Muzzin protected over Zaitsev. And really waaaay too early to try and sort that out given another year and possible moves to be made at that too. |

I have no clue how much they are.. can probably get nosebleeds for $40 - Arctic_AARDVARK
also depends on the Team they are playing against as they have flex pricing in effect for team like the Yankees, Red Suckz etc.. and pay more $$ when they come to town. |

Yeah no doubt..
I’ll watch the Atheletics or some poop.. tbh I get more enjoyment just being in the city on a hot summer day than watching guys trying to whack a ball with a stick. |

Cool, thanks.
I mean, if I was a millionaire I’d probably go to a few more.. but I’m just regular folk, and I’m content with less expensive activities.. - Arctic_AARDVARK

It's also why other people don't spend your money (not talking taxes)
That's why I don't get the criticism of how people spend their money. Different things have different values to different people.

Muzzin, Andersen would/will have to get resigned first too.. and what if there's another young talent booming in the league in the next 2 years?..
yeah it's way too far to even try and predict the picks!.. |

Yeah man..
I’d rather go out snowshoeing or ice fishing all day and come home to watch the game. I text my cousin all game long anyways so I’d probably still do that if I were actually at the game, and I’d miss a lot hah. |

If Leafs go out first rd again Babs will Ben in the hot seat. Once that genie is out of the bottle it’s not going back in. - Arctic_AARDVARK
meh, teams come along ways in 3 years...I just don't see them canning Babs.
But who knows. |

Oh no critisism here!
People go, including me, for the atmosphere. Maybe it should be said that I’ve been to at least 20 jays games and more than 10 Leafs games in TO and at least 20 NHL games in Ottawa.. I’ve been enough to know what to expect. Fenway looks hella fun and I bet the environment kills anything TO has to offer.

Wasn't trying to imply you were criticizing, just making a point, sorry about that. Should've been more clear
Fenway is awesome
They do a day game on the 4th of July sometimes and it's a killer game to go to...great memories of doing that with my siblings and cousins one year. |

A game here and there is a lot of fun, when combined with a nice dinner and a night out with the boys, but you'd have a hard time convincing me to go to a game on a wednesday after work many times a season. |

I guess I don't watch enough TV, but I havent noticed the controversy...other then Babs said something about Petan (?) Not sure if that means there not on the same page...anyways, my crystal ball is not showing me Babs future. |

I was criticizing myself a bit lol..
That would be neat. You guys take that day pretty serious, huh? I’d have to buy a union-Jack T-shirt and a hat that says “Canada won the war of 1812” 😜

The only thing that would tick me off if I were Dubas is that he acquired Muzzin early specifically to give him time to gel with the team, and most likely Rielly on the first pairing. I don't think it's a firing offense - you have a coach to coach the games, but . . .Muzzin was decent, until Babcock just decided he was right all along:
Game 1 (Det): 10 minutes with Rielly, 50% CF;
Game 2 (Pit): 14.5 minutes with Rielly, 62.5% CF;
Game 3 (Ana): 14.5 minutes with Rielly, 60% CF;
Game 4 (Ott): 13 minutes with Rielly, 48.3% CF;
Game 5 (Mtl): 11.5 minutes with Rielly, 55.9% CF;
Game 6 (NYR): 11.5 minutes with Rielly, 37.5% CF;
Game 7 (Col): 6 minutes with Rielly, 30% CF and Muzzin is no longer a first pairing guy.
I'm not sure, but if I'd acquired a guy who I thought was a legitimate first pairing guy, that'd I'd be thrilled at how quickly he was demoted from the first pair. If you take that last game against the Avs, when they took Muzzin away from Rielly and reunited Rielly and Hainsey, that was 28% effective, so it's not like anyone was doing well 5v5 in that game.

hyman has more value to this team than johnsson. - plantheparade
Johnsson >> Hyman
Only reason that Hyman would be protected would be if the Leafs have traded either of Kap or Johnsson because they're gonna get too much $$$ on their next deal. Something the Leafs don't need to worry about with Hyman, because he'll never make that much. |
