I don’t disagree, the Canucks are bad, but they didn’t make Goody bad, he was before he arrived, he was while he was a Canuck and he will continue to be a lousy NHL defenseman |

Plan B is more Beagles and Rousell types players.
Todd Shannon was talking about how the Canucks ste happy with those moves and are looking to sign those more of those types of ufas in the off season.

meh.
I got nothing against either of those 2.
Beagle has done his job and Rousell has excelled imo. - dbot
Nothing against them, but for the fact that they are redundant, dam this argument goes back year after year.
I want to fix the bottom 6 by signing top line players who are pushing top 6 players down the depth chart, not signing bottom 3 players yo push 4th liners up into the top 9. |

Beagle might be doing his job, but Nick Dowd, who was ridiculed in Vancouver as a 4th line player is doing just fine in Washington, showing that it isn’t the player but the team that leads to success. Good team, players shine. Bad team, players “do their job”. |

Eriksson Sutter Beagle are all bottom liners, great 4th liners to be sure, but that's a 12m dollar line, scarface would approve. |

Doesn't matter what Guddy does going forward. It wasn't working here. For him or the Canucks. He also stuck up for his teammates here. Not every single time. But he shouldn't have to, every single time.
Good guy, was time to move on. Wish we got a pick instead of Pearson. The Titanic is sinking cause of the excess of deck chairs being added to this "middle six" forward group. Time to throw some overboard.
I wonder if JB every goes on capfriendly.com and looks at the Wings and Rangers and their draft picks the last 2 drafts. "Hmmmm, maybe we should do that?"
Nah, let's trade for Spooner/Pearson etc instead. |

Who are you arguing with?
I suggested signing Anders Lee.
I consider him a top6 player (top 3 player on this team).
This seems to be the exact thing your saying. |

It's to disagree for the sake of disagreeing, both Beagle and Roussel have been great pickups by Benning.
Depending on money and term I would interested both Lee and Ferland, short term, while some of the other prospect develop their game, (Woo, Madden, Lockwood, Guadette) but there will always be complainers. |

Ahh, so glad we have a potential Jack Adams coach to make this a good team were players shine. I'd rather have Beagle doing his job in Vancouver than Dowd who didn't know what a good job was here. |

Gross, you're looking at 2 contracts that Benning would throw 7x6m with NTC at. They wouldn't score 20 and 20 here.
(frank) paying for b ranked ufas, go big or do nothing.

Lee would score 25-30. He’s not leaving NY though. |

I agree with you about Lee, I think Ferland is a fine 3rd liner that'll get overpaid and it scares me.
I should have split my repost and I'm sorry for casting them in the same light. |

These two words don't belong in the same sentence.
If by short term you mean a two year deal with Ferland and a 5 year deal for Lee, then I agree. |
